They haven't played a game so those stats aren't very reliable. We are #5 in pts/gm, #16 in total offense, and #5 in total defense. We are trying to avenge last year's 34-31 loss in Double OT.

Kent HB#6 acting like Superman goes 59 yards for a TD. 10-7 Kent State. QB Schroeder finds WR Collins again on a 24 yard TD pass. 14-10. CB Josh Brown picks a pass deflected by ROLB Pedro "Michael" Myers, gets a key block by FS Kevin Haynes, and he's gone 71 yards for a TD. 21-10. HB Maurice Mitchell takes a handoff and goes in from 15 yards out. 28-10.

HB#35 scores on a 19 yard TD run and now it's 35-10, Heavy Metal! HB Mitchell scores on an 11 yard TD run. 42-10.

Kent CB Henry picks a QB Derek McClain pass and returns it 36 yards for the score. 42-17. Kent HB#6 goes 80 on a TD run and now the score is 42-24. K Donte Botts hits a 28 yard FG to end the scoring in this game. 45-24.

The team played well most of the game. A few slip ups by RT Brian Burnette caused some trouble offensively. HB#6 was very hard to contain, but we did it.
