Game Notes
- The Wildcats gave up a season-high 216 yards rushing on 16 carries to Colorado. The previous high was 159 to Louisville in week four.
- Freshman quarterback Carson Coffman tied a Wildcats' season-high with four interceptions in his first start of the season. Coffman was forced into action after injuries to the 'Cats top two QBs, Josh Freeman and Dylan Meier. Coffman completed only 8-of-22 pass attempts (36.4%) for 151 yards.
- Senior tailback Thomas Clayton rushed for 69 yards on 15 carries. The 69 yards was one yard shor of his season-low (week seven vs. Nebraska). Clayton has also been held under five yards-per-carry in the past four games after having averaged over five yards-per-carry in hthe team's first six games.
- Junior linebacker Justin Roland had a personal season-high five tackles as the Wildcats used the 4-4 defense extensively to try and slow down the Colorado rushing attack.
- Senior middle linebacker and team captain Zach Diles had his best game of the season with nine tackles, including two for a loss.
- Senior placekicker Jeff Snodgrass did not attempt an extra point or field goal for the first time all season. K-State went for two (unsuccessful) after scoring their only twouchdown (23-yard run by Thomas Clayton).
- KSU had a season-low 10:12 (36%) time-of-possession.
