Game Notes
- Kansas State scored a school record 77 points in the 77-7 win over Illinois State.
- The 11 K-State touchdowns tied a school record (vs. Ball St. 9/16/00).
- Senior placekicker Jeff Snodgrass set a school record with 11 extra-point attempts and 11 extra-points made.
- Senior tailback Thomas Clayton tallied his fourth career 100-yard rushing game totaling 125 yards on only nine carries.
- Senior kick returner Yamon Figurs set a school record by returning both a kickoff (85 yards) and a punt (64 yards) for a touchdown. Figurs also returned a kickoff (98 yards) for a score last season @Texas Tech (10/15/05).
- Although freshman quarterback Josh Freeman had a successful debut completing 5-of-6 passes for 29 yards, the six pass attempts tied a school record for fewest attempts in a game (vs. Iowa St. 11/10/84).

Game Notes
- The 133 points scored in the wins over Illinois St. and Florida Atlantic set a Kansas State school record for most points scored in consecutive games.
- Senior tailbacks Thomas Clayton (162) and Carlos Alsup (113) became the 11th tandem in school history to each rush for over 100 yards (done most recently by Alan Webb and Darren Sproles vs. Nebraska 10/23/04).
- Kansas State's 306 rushing yards was the most since a 40-20 win over Louisiana-Lafayette (393) 9/18/04. The Wildcats had one 300-yard rushing game last season (305 vs. North Texas 9/24/05).
- Freshman quarterback Josh Freeman continued to impress by completing 6-of-10 pass attempts for 90 yards and two touchdowns.
- Senior placekicker Jeff Snodgrass did not attempt a field goald for the second-straight game. It was the first time in his career he has gone consecutive games without a field goal attempt.

Game Notes
- Senior tailback Thomas Clayton set a school record with 313 rushing yards on only 25 attempts (292 by Darren Sproles 9/18/04). It was only the 11th time in school history a player has gone over 200 yards in a game.
- Clayton is the first player in school history to open the season with three consecutive 100-yard games. The three consecutive 100-yard games tied him for fourth most in school history.
- Freshman quarterback Josh Freeman had his first poor performance by completing only 5-of-14 pass attempts (35.7%) and throwing his first interception.
- Junior receiver Jordy Nelson had a Wildcats' season-high 61 yard reception, his only catch of the game.
- K-State's 442 yards of total offense was the most by the team since a 40-20 win over Louisiana-Lafayette (445) 9/18/04.
- The Wildcats three interceptions give them nine through three games. They had only eight all of last season.
- K-State has totaled 1137 total yards (379 per game) through three games.

- The 6th ranked Cardinals were the highest ranked team the Wildcats have faced since #3 Oklahoma visited Manhattan 10/16/04.
- Kansas State allowed 533 yards of offense to Louisville, the most since a 59-20 loss @Texas Tech last year.
- The 374 yards passing by Louisville was the most allowed to a team other than Texas Tech since California threw for 378 against the Wildcats 8/23/03.
- The 277 yards of total offense by K-State was the fewest since a 12-3 win over Kansas (236) 10/8/05.
- Senior tailback Thomas Clayton was held under 100 yards for the first time this season (72 yards on 13 carries).
- Clayton set a career-high with 672 yards rushing in only four games. His previous career-high was 637 yards in 11 games set in 2005.
- Freshman quarterback Josh Freeman had his second two-touchdown game of the year but struggled, completing only 14-of-28 passes and throwing his second interception. Freeman's 194 yards passing were a season-high.
- Senior receiver Yamon Figurs set Wildcat season-highs with four receptions and 64 yards.
- Junior cornerback Justin McKinney totaled a K-State season-high 10 tackles.
- Senior linebacker Brandon Archer had a Wildcats' season-high four tackles-for-loss and tied his personal season-high with nine tackles.
- Junior punter Tim Reyer punted nine times, the most since a 12-3 win over Kansas 10/8/05.
