Spiders Set Points Record
And other than that there was no suspense today. Richmond scored a team record 84 points. Bryan Henderson, whose ascent to impacthood happened last week, intercepted a pass early and returned two kickoffs for touchdowns. Henderson also had 5 tackles. It was Henderson's first occasion to return kicks and punts.
Buck Roberts played the first half at quarterback and Willie Nelson played the entire second half. Both QBs had no problem with the Wyoming secondary, combining for 9 passing TDs. Freshman tight end Matt Harvey hauled in 9 passes for 154 yards and 2 touchdowns.
