Sooners Humiliated in Gunnison
This was not in anybody's screenplay. The heavily favored #5 Sooners were upset in almost ridiculously easy fashion by the supposedly outmanned Richmond Spiders. But Richmond had a secret weapon. Wideouts Raddick and Jones destroyed the Sooner perimeters, and Buck Roberts got the ball to them with great precision. Richmond overcame a 300 yard game by OU's running back Nicholas.
