2007 Week 10

Coming in to the big rivaly game between #24 Michigan State (7-2, 4-1) and #12 Michigan (8-1, 4-1), Spartans QB Brian Hoyer had 19 touchdowns and 9 interceptions on the year. Playing very well, Hoyer had been the biggest surprise for the Big Ten.

Then, Michigan strolls into East Lansing and in one huge EA cluster-f**k, Hoyer walks out of the game with 20 touchdowns and 16 interceptions.

In his first experience of the interception "bug", Dr. P couldn't help but watch as Hoyer threw seven interceptions, three of which were returned for touchdowns in the Wolverines 27-10 victory.

"Completely disgusting. Michigan played a horrendous game, and they were bailed out with these incredible interceptions drive after drive. I've never seen CB's and LB's react to the ball the way their players did today. I'm absolutely disgusted," yelled an angry Dr. P into the mic.

CB Morgan Trent returned back to back interceptions for touchdowns in the final few minutes of the game, giving the Wolverines the win, despite not scoring an offensive touchdown.

"That team ain't sh**," an angry Dr. P continued to speak. "Mike Hart is slow as hell, Chad Henne doesn't know how to throw, and their offense gave us that game. Luckily for them, EA gets more money for every Wolverine championship. What does EA get from the Spartans winning that game? Now we get this precious Wisconsin/Michigan battle to decide the Big Ten championship. It's all a mother f!@#@!!@ conspiracy!"

What Dr. P was referring to, was the fact that Michigan is set to travel to Wisconsin next week in a game that will more than likely determine the Big Ten champion, and the BCS representative.

With the loss, the Spartans will drop out of the top 25 and fall to 7-3 on the year. They'll look to rebound in Purdue next week.
