Luck be a lady
Casey was in complete shock in this game. "A gift from God," he said.
The game ball went to the Volunteer secondary who tipped 2 balls into position like a volleyball player to the Demon Deacon wide receivers. 2 balls caught, 2 touchdowns received. Thank you Tennessee defense.
This game was all about time of posession and luck, of course. 3-9 passing and 2 td's for all star Ben Mauk who has really put this team on his shoulders in the past few weeks. "I'm really proud of him," said Casey.
Ever since the Evans fiasco and TE #87 shooting it up at strip clubs this team has been playing inspired ball, whether it be from Erin Andrews long legs or Coach Casey's implementing of cornhole during halftime, this team just keeps finding ways to win. Surely reality will set in for this team, or will it?
Ironically all 3 wins for Wake have been on the road, and the 2 losses both at home to crap opponents. Maybe Wake should never come home, Dorothy did fine when she wasn't in Kansas anymore.
It's all hamburgers and hot dogs and pool parties this week for the boys and Casey - maybe that will keep them out of the clubs.
