Welcome to "Wake at the Break" here at Hits 105.5 live from the University of Wake Forest, I'm your host Charles Gase here with new head coach Matt Casey.

Coach, what did you think about today's game against Syracuse?

Coach: "Well Charlie, it's tough to get a fair assessment of this team. We ran drills all week specifically focusing on the fake spike pass and running attack. We figured some tomfoolery and chicanery would spark the offensive attack this week against the Orange. Offensively speaking we're still getting used to the playbook, but we were still able to put 350 yards of offense. Turnovers were the problem."

Were you impressed with Syracuse?

Coach: "No Chuck. I was impressed with how many ways our team was able to lose a game. I tell you, in all of my coaching experience at Indiana Wesleyan University flag football, nothing like this had ever occured in my tenure. This is just plain ridiculous. Four interceptions, four."

What's in store for next week?

Coach: "Well, we're looking to get an edge on Duke. It's an ACC game, so of course conference games are very important. Duke is a very beatable opponent, as 90% of their team is white, compared to our 80%, so we have an edge there. I hope that we'll be able to get a halfway decent running attack going. Micah Andrews will be key for that, we can't keep giving the ball to our cornerback."
