Alabama Takes Down Kentucky for 1st SEC Win of the Season

Kentucky (1-1) has a B+ offense, a B- defense, and is B overall. They are #33 in pts/gm, #45 in total offense, and #34 in total defense. #1 Alabama (2-0) is A+ across the board. We are #1 in pts/gm, #12 in total offense, and #1 in total defense. Even though the Wildcats are 1-1, I'm not taking these guys lightly. This could turn out to be a tough game. Just to give you an idea of who is ranked #2 (Cal), they barely beat UConn 23-17 in Week 3 at home. Interesting. Weather: Clear.

HB Nick Brown busts a 48 yard TD run, 7-0 Bama. He could have broke the one before, but he was too concerned with covering up the ball going through the hole.

K Tim Ford hits a 36 yard FG after WR Eddie Simmons drops a pass for a first down, 10-0. HB Jonas Barnes scores on a 6 yard TD run, 17-0. HB Barnes then breaks a 55 yard TD run, 24-0. QB Jesse Russ throws a 13 yard TD pass to WR Marcus Babineaux, 31-0. Babineaux dropped a TD pass earlier in the game. QB Russ throws in the flat to HB Brown and he outruns the Wildcat defense for a 55 yard TD connection, 38-0.

HB Brown scores on a 6 yard TD urn, 45-0. K Ford hits a 45 yard FG, 48-0.

QB Joe Carter options into the endzone on a 22 yard TD run, 55-0.

The Wildcats didn't play all that well on either side of the ball. This score could have been a lot worse if we had executed better and caught our passes.
