QB Jesse Russ throws a 23 yard TD strike to WR Marcus Babineaux, 7-0 Bama. HB Nick Brown scores on a 38 yard TD run, 14-0. LSU K Robbins hits a 41 yard FG after a LSU HB breaks a long run against our defense, 14-3.

PR Marco Herring returns a Tigers' punt 75 yards for the score, 21-3. HB Andre Barnes breaks a 50 yard TD run, 28-3. LSU K Robbins hits a 44 yard FG, 28-6. K Tim Ford hits a 36 yard FG, 31-6.

HB Brown gets loose on a 31 yard TD run, 38-6. QB Russ throws a 60 yard TD pass to HB Brown, 45-6. PR Herring scores his second return of the day and this 76 yard punt return for the score makes it 52-6.

K Ford hits a 54 yard FG into the wind, 55-6. HB Chris Morris scores on a 16 yard TD run, 62-6.

LSU tried, but they just didn't have the athletes to keep up with us. We win the SEC West with this victory, but we have The Iron Bowl next. Our one mistake on the day was an INT where HB Nick Brown dropped a sure TD pass and it was picked by the trailing LSU player. We got the ball right back after we crushed the LSU QB and recovered the fumble. LSU couldn't do much right with their backup QB in the game. If their starting QB hadn't been hurt, this might have been a slightly different game.
