Let's keep rolling...

Kirk and Lee both predicted us to win. [wow]

Great, I figure we will lose now. We started off the game trading three and outs with the Thundering Herd. We eventually bucked the trend and got on the board with a TD pass from Max to Foster. 7-0 Eagles. They warmed up and moved down the field pretty well. They eventually scored on a, get this... [b]HB pass to the QB!!![/b] [down] Morris, their QB, beat Vaiano [wow] for the score. I figure we will will be ok. We take the ball and are beginning our drive when Max gets drilled by a CB blitzing the backside. He fumbles. One of their D-linemen grab it and... stumbles, bumbles, and rumbles into the endzone. TD Marshall. 14-7 Marshall. We try not to let that bother us. We slowly work our way down the field. We tie it up with a one yard run by Max. We gave the Herd way too much time, so they march back down and pull ahead 20-14. "20?" you say. Yes, 20. 4th string DT Daniels blocked his second PAT of the year. This sucker is gonna get interesting now.
The Eagles get the ball back to start the half. We move down the field easily(we figured out the option works wonderfully against them). So, we get a Chris Covington score to put us ahead 21-20. Marshall goes to killing our D, but luckily we hold them to a field goal. 23-21. We take the ball and just DRAIN the clock. We even started subbing Max in and out he was so tired. I accidentally put Reynard Montford our starting FS in at QB(I was gonna put in Maynard, to get him some carries). Well Montford scored. [laugh] After a 2pt conversion we're up 29-23. Marshall gets the ball and tires to make something happen. They can't, they punt. We kill the clock yet again. They get the ball back with 0:34 on the clock. One completion, they're at the forty, 0:23 on the clock. Another completion, they're at the fifteen, 0:13 and counting on the clock. They throw their next pass, caught and stopped at the three. They hurry to the line, Morris gets to the center, and buzzzzzzz. Ballgame. We win. We win! WE WIN!!! Everybody's happy. What a win. I guess you're wondering what the greatness rating was...zero. Yes, zero. Whatever. We ran the option great(poor Max had -19 yards due to sacks, and pitching the ball). Great win for us. Up next is a C-USA rival(or at least I'm making them that) Southern Miss. It will be a tough one.
