Pennsylvania Quakers

Box Score1st2nd3rd4thFinal

Harvard 0 0 21 13 34

IT WAS A DONE DEAL WHEN
HB David Taylor blew up late in the game. We had the lead and were just looking to run out the clock, and then Taylor broke off long TD runs of 64 and 55 yards late in the 3rd and early in the 4th. Penn never really made a game of it after that, despite some late scores in garbage time.

GAME BALLS
HB David Taylor was in some kind of zone, rolling to 272 yards and 3 rushing TDs. ... My senior pair of inside linebackers, Leon Neal and Chris McCargo, combined for 13 tackles and 2 sacks.

KEY STATISTICS
Pennsylvania had more first downs and won the time of possession battle. It's remarkable that the game wasn't closer.

NOTES
David Taylor set a new single-game record with 272 rushing yards. It broke the previous record, which he set against Dartmouth in 2010. ... Taylor also moved ahead of HB Michael Clarke on our career rushing leader list. ... Junior WR Chris Jenkins now has 101 catches in his career, putting him only 18 behind our career record-holder, Alec Math, who had 119.
