IT WAS A DONE DEAL WHEN...
Freshman DE Brandon Sherman broke through for the sack on 4th and long, ending Dartmouth's last drive when they needed only FG drive to win the game.
GAME BALLS
DT Cory James had 2 sacks. ... HB Melvin Hawkins picked up 186 yards and a score on 24 carries. ... WR Karl Bush accounted for most of our receiving stats with 7 catches for 122 yards.
KEY STATISTICS

NOTES
For the second week in a row, we had an in-season recruit in to visit. This time it was DE Willie Bolden. ... HB Melvin Hawkins had a fine day, pikcing up 186 yards on the ground, placing 5th on our list of best single-game rushing performances. His 156 yards after the 1st hit set a new record for us. ... I'm now 6-0 against Dartmouth.
