All Quiet in Week 4

Weekly Report Posted: April 30, 2024 09:43

No news has been reported this week.

I'll be honest. It was ugly. TAMU missed a 25-yard field goal on its first possession and that was a highlight. The Crows knocked through a 38-yarder by Jerome Sherman, made a pick via LB Samson Stewart and scored on a 1-yard Delmar Coffee plunge. After a Joe Allen INT, QB Clarence Oveur hit TE Randolph Yapp for a 57-yard TD and a 17-0 Crow lead. A shanked TAMU punt and a 40-yard Lance Day TD catch. The Aggies did manage a FG before the break but was down 24-3 at half. Coffee with a 3-yard TD run, Yapp with a 27-yard TD catch. TAMU added a long field goal (51 yards) near the end of the third, but it's like 38-6 at that point. Uti Possidetis with a 33-yard TD catch, later a 40-yard TD catch from Donfredale Harper. The subs got good time in this 52-6 shellacking. The Big Ten season starts next with the Crows still #1 and 4-0.
