2013 Week 9

This was the perfect chance for the UNI Panthers to dust off some of their plays they've never run before and just practice running them. Appalachian State was not much of a match for UNI as UNI beat them mostly threw the air with 363 yards.
UNI scored through the air, ground and by foot. Kicker Jason Johnson was 3-3 on the day for field goals and he added 4-4 on extra points.
Freshman halfback Steve Jackson was held to a mere 105 rushing yards and only two touchdowns. He did add an 81 yard kick return for a touchdown as well.
UNI improves their chances with another win and another notch in the win column. UNI is now 7-1 overall and is tied with their next opponent (Alabama) in the SEC West with a 4-1 record.
