Arkansas forgot to get any points before they left the game on Saturday.
For only the second time in the young season under head coach Bo Pelini, the #24 UNI Panthers have come away with a shutout and a lot of points on the offensive side.
Freshman Joel Cribbs had an interception and returned it for a 55 yard touchdown to start the scoring.
After that it was scoring by the backup kicker Ryan Washington, halfback Steve Jackson and fullback John Patton.
Starting kicker Jason Johnson injured his elbow on the opening kickoff and will miss a week which turns out to be great for UNI because next week is UNI's BYE week.
Freshman halfback Steve Jackson ran for 359 yards and six touchdowns. FB John Patton added six yards and two touchdowns.
With only one SEC conference game left to play, UNI has a good chance to win the SEC West. They are currently 9-1 overall and 6-1 in the SEC Conference. Right behind them though is the team that beat them, LSU with a 5-2 conference record. If UNI were to get beat by Ole Miss on November 21st. LSU would win the SEC West if LSU can beat Ole Miss the following week. That is because, LSU has the tie-breaker over UNI.
