UNI Wins Easy Versus Rival
The UNI Panthers made it look easy once again as they handed Richmond a loss.
The Panthers scored a lot and often. It started with a special teams score by HB Steve Jackson as he returned a 46 yard punt for a touchdown. Jackson then ran in for a 22 yard touchdown with no time left on the clock in the first quarter to put the Panthers up 14-0 at the end of the first quarter. The scoring wouldn't end there as the Panthers would score 24 in the second quarter. An 84-yard interception return by Jones, 2 1-yard run by Jackson, and a 45-yard field goal would count the scoring for the Panthers in the second quarter.
QB Lance Robertson had a passing touchdown in both the third and fourth quarters for scores as UNI won big, 52-10.
