Even though the Florida Gator's top quarterback was out for the game, the UNI Panthers couldn't pull off the upset.

UNI had 10 more first downs, 52 more total offense yards, held Florida to -42 rushing yards, and had 149 more total yards. The one category that UNI didn't want to lead was the turnovers. UNI had seven more turnovers than the Gators. UNI threw six interceptions which proved to be the dagger in the heart for the Panthers.
UNI took the lead with four minutes left in the third quarter but Florida scored 24 unanswered points to finish off UNI and grab the SEC Championship from them. The final score, 31-10. With the win, Florida stays in the running to go to the BCS National Championship game.
