2007 Week 13

Despite having only one win coming into this game Idaho put up one heck of a fight against the Aggies. Utah state kicked a field goal on its first possession but was answered quickly by Idaho. Idaho went on a 14 unanswered run with two long runs for touchdowns. USU was able to mustard a touchdown drive with a minute to go in the first quarter to make it a 14-10 game at the end of one.

The second quarter was an explosive one for both teams as they both scored 21 points. Idaho scored on 3 touchdown passes all longer than 63 yards while USU had a kick return touchdown to spark their scoring drives. The score going into halftime was 35-31 Idaho.

The third quarter proved to be the winning quarter for the Aggies as they scored on two impressive drives while the Vandals managed to only score on one. Both teams matched each other punch for punch in the fourth quarter with each scoring a touchdown and field goal. The Aggies pulled one out with a 55-52 win.

After the game Coach McGriffLe had this to say, "This was a scary game today. We did not have a good week of practice and it showed. With this win though we should have solidified a bowl game."
