Mistakes doom Mountaineers as they fall to LSU 27-21
Quarterback Geno Smith 3 three interceptions including one returned 65 yards for a touchdowns and the West Virginia offense never got rolling Saturday falling at home to LSU 27-21. The Tigers came into the game ranked #5 in the latest coaches polls and they certainly proved their ranking on Saturday.
WVU was led by the defense, specifically their defensive backfield as safties Robert Sands and Sidney Glover both recorded double digit tackling totals. Corner Keith Tandy also intercepted two passes including one he returned 58 yards and a touchdown.
West Virginia will now travel to College Park Maryland on Saturday to take on Rival Maryland.
