Interceptions nearly doom Mountaineers
Dave Akindona kicked a 23 yard field goal as time expired to lift West Virginia over rival Syracuse 24-21 Saturday afternoon at the Carrier Dome. WVU overcame 5 interceptions and a fumble in handing the Orange their first loss of the year.
