Wynel Seldon's 68 yard touchdown run on the first play from scrimmage after Air Force got within 3 points was the back breaker and helped seal a sloppy win for the 22nd ranked Cowboys (7-0) over Air Force (2-6).

Wyoming won the game which featured 13 turnovers by a score of 38-28. Karsten Sween added to his NCAA leading interception total by throwing 6 more on the day, but did add TD passes of 33,10,and 10 to help lead the Cowboys to victory. Wynel Seldon finished with 103 yards on 11 carries to lead the Pokes on the ground. Defensively, Juniors Quincy Rogers and Ward Dobbs each had 2 interceptions to lead the Cowboys defensive attack.
