2007 Week 6

After forcing a fumble and recovering it inside their own 20, Wyoming (5-0) drove the length of the field and K/P Billy Vinnedge connected from 45 yards with the game winning field goal to defeat TCU (4-2) and give the Cowboys their second victory over a top 25 team this season.

Defense, again was the name of the game as the top two defenses in the nation went up against each other. Both teams only managed a field goal in the first half. The only touchdown for the Horned Frogs came on the opening kickoff of the second half when Marcus Johnson returned it 93 yards to the house to give TCU a 10-3 advantage.

Leading the defensive attack for the Cowboys was Senior LB Sean Claffey. Claffey contributed 6 tackles, 3 for loss, one sack, and recovered the fumble that set up the game winning drive.

On offense, Sophomore WR/HB Evan Weatherspoon 101 total yards which included a big 25 yard run on an end around to keep the game winning drive alive.
