2019 Week 9

Tennessee (2-4) is B across the board. They are #58 in pts/gm, #64 in total offense, and #107 in total defense. We have an A offense, an A+ defense, and we're A+ overall. We're #1 in everything except pass offense (113th) and turnover differential (7th). Senior DT Mark Poland refused to pay attention in our film study session. Therefore, he will be suspended 4 games. That'll teach him. Hehe. Weather: Clear.

UT QB Cobbs throws a 2 yard TD pass to Archie, 7-0 UT. QB Marcus "The Future" Sullivan throws a 62 yard TD pass to WR Bo Butler, 7-7.

UT K Hill kicks a 44 yard FG, 10-7. HB Michael Gibbs then races 46 yards for a TD, 14-10. HB Gibbs then scores on a 2 yard TD run, 21-10.

HB Gibbs scores his 3rd TD of the game when he scores on a 16 yard TD run, 28-10. PR Adam Leonard fields a punt, goes left and then immediately cuts back right and he's gone 52 yards for the score, 35-10 Tide.

K Craig Gunn kicks a 31 yard FG to make it 38-10. UT QB Cobbs throws a 55 yard TD pass to Wise, 38-17. UT Cobbs throws a 53 yard TD pass to Jackson, 38-24 Tide.

UT hung around most of this game, but once again the punt return for a TD by PR Adam Leonard broke this game wide open. UT scored a couple of garbage TDs against the backups to make this one look closer than it was.
