Vanderbilt (8-3) has a C+ offense, a B- defense, and is B- overall. They are #33 in pts/gm, #28 in total offense, and #14 in total defense. #2 Alabama has an A offense, an A+ defense, and is A+ overall. We are #1 in everything except pass offense (117th) and turnover differential (5th). DE Marcus Jefferson's attitude about working out has been getting progressively worse. Therefore, he will miss this game.

K Craig Gunn draws first blood when he knocks in a 36 yard FG, 3-0 Bama. QB Marcus "The Future" Sullivan throws a 64 yard TD pass to WR Mike Bishop, 10-0.

HB Michael Gibbs runs it in from a yard out, 17-0. QB Sullivan options his way into the endzone on a 63 yard TD run, 24-0. VU K Payne hits a 46 yard FG, 24-3.

No scoring in the 3rd quarter.

K Gunn hits a 32 yard FG early in the fourth quarter, 27-3.

We played ok in this one. Our offense kind of eased up once we got the three TD lead. Up next is the National Championship game.
