Tide Finishes off UGA on Way to Another SEC Crown
#22 Georgia (7-4) is B- across the board. They are #35 in pts/gm, #16 in total offense, and #50 in total defense. #1 Alabama (12-0) has an A offense, an A+ defense, and is A+ overall. We are #1 in everything except pass offense (118th).
On Alabama's first play from scrimmage, QB Ricky Morris turns and hands off to HB Tyler Doby. Doby heads right, spins by a defender and it's a footrace that Doby won't lose on his way to an 80 yard TD run, 7-0 Bama. HB Doby runs it in from 24 yards, 14-0.
QB Morris throws a 56 yard TD pass to HB Doby, 21-0. HB Doby then scores on an 8 yard TD run and then on a 23 yard TD run, 35-0.
QB Morris throws a 50 yard TD pass to WR Chris Coleman, 42-0. FB Marcus Dortch barrels in from 3 yards out, 49-0.
FB John Johnson gets in from a yard out, 56-0. K Stanley Henry hits a 39 yard FG, 59-0. HB Jeremy Smith goes in from 2 yards out, 66-0.
UGA had 0 offense in this game and our rushing attack just took the game over. This puts us in the National Championship game vs. Texas Tech. Do you think they really have a chance against HB Tyler Doby and crew?
