HB Michael Gibbs goes 43 yards for the score just :52 into the game, 7-0 Tide. A little later in the first, HB Gibbs scores on a 12 yard TD run, 14-0. ARK QB Hamilton finds Hardy on a 69 yard TD pass, 14-7. :33 later ARK QB Hamilton hits Hardy again on a 32 yard TD pass, 14-14. :03 Arkansas registers a safety and it's 16-14 Hogs. Alabama answers the 16 points the Hogs have put up with a 95 yard TD run by HB Gibbs, 21-16 at the end of one.

ARK K Wilkinson hits a 26 yard FG, 21-19 Bama. FB Ben Wilson goes in from 2 yards out to make it 28-19 Tide with :31 left in the half.

The only scoring in the 3rd quarter was a 29 yard FG by ARK K Wilkinson, 28-22.

K Craig Gunn gets the Tide a 43 yard FG with 4:38 remaining in the game, 31-22. ARK QB Hamilton finds Hardy for the third time on the day with a 13 yard TD pass with :47 left in the game. The Tide hang on for the win after that.

This was a tough one. Any time you play Arkansas in the rain, it's going to be a battle. Why? Because Hogs like mud I guess.
