IT WAS A DONE DEAL WHEN
D.J. McPhearson scrambled for a crucial 23 yard run on 3rd and 16 late in the 4th. With only a 2 point lead, even a field goal would've put Princeton on top, so we needed to hold onto the ball.
GAME BALL
WR Chris Jenkins caught 10 balls for 105 yards and a TD, spearheading a very steady day by our passing attack. ... ILB Leon Neal had a big day with 9 tackles and a sack, and of course the game-winning safety. ... CB Mike Blair finally snapped his slump, getting his first interception of the season.
KEY STATISTICS
We went 7/13 on 3rd downs. Princeton only converted 2 all day.
NOTES
We move into a tie with Brown at the top of the conference, with this win. Cornell, next week's opponent, isn't far behind, though.
