IT WAS A DONE DEAL WHEN
D.J. McPhearson's third interception of the first half was run back for a touchdown late in the 2nd quarter, giving Air Force an incredible 28-3 lead going into the intermission. We never made a game of it after that.
GAME BALLS
WR Chris Jenkins had a nice day. ... FS Kevin Coleman picked off a couple passes to continue his pretty stellar season.
KEY STATISTICS
Air Force held HB David Taylor to -2 yards on 11 carries. This was where the game was lost, because it took away our running game, and this made us become a pass-heavy team on a day when our QBs were off their game. We threw 7 interceptions and ended up playing all three of our quarterbacks at one point or another.
NOTES
We finished the season 2nd place in our conference, which figures to earn us another trip to the New Orleans Bowl.
