MOSCOW, Idaho (AP) - 6. That's how many times Vandal QBs were intercepted. Chris Joseph, whose 4 touchdowns and no interceptions against Washington State had led Coach Ghettoshark to believe that he was the answer to the Vandal QB woes was benched in the first half following two interceptions. Brian Nooy then was called on to take Joseph's spot. He threw a touchdown, but ended up with 4 picks on the day.

"I don't know if either one of them wants the starting job. It sure doesn't look like it from what I've seen. The sooner we get Enderle back the better," said Coach Ghettoshark. Enderle, who 1 touchdown and no picks and led the Vandals to a first quarter 14-10 scare of the #1 Trojans, was sidelined with a broken collarbone. He's expected to be back in time for the San Jose State game following next week.

The 24-14 score was deceptive as one of the touchdowns came off a Max Komar punt return. Thus despite having a subpar day (by his standards) with 2 receptions and 78 yards, he was still named the player of the game for the Vandals. "Max does everything for us, whether it's offense or special teams. Since Enderle's been sidelined, he's been the only bright spot on our team," said Ghettoshark.

The rushing game was missing for the Vandals yet again. Leading rusher Brian Flowers only got 22 yard on 15 carries, or 1.4 yards each carry. "The offensive line has to take some of the blame. We have good runningbacks, but you can't expect them to do anything without holes to run through," said Ghettoshark.

The schedule only gets tougher for the struggling Vandals who host the #21 Hawaii Warriors in a WAC conference game next week.
