UCLA won the toss and took the ball to start the game. On this drive UCLA drove down the field but the Cardinal defense held and UCLA took a 3-0 lead. Following a fumble by Stanford QB Forcier. UCLA found the endzone and a 10-0 lead. On Stanford's next possession Fullback Marecic fumbled to give UCLA the ball back.

UCLA struck again on a TD run. 17-0 Bruins. Forcier committed another turnover with a int. Stanford's defense held the Bruins but UCLA made the FG and a 20-0 lead. Forcier threw another int in the red zone but UCLA went 3 and out. Forcier threw another pick and UCLA drove down to the 10 yard line. W. Osaisai jumped an out route for Stanford and took it 94 yards for a TD. 20-7 UCLA.

In the 3rd Quarter the teams traded punts back and forth. No scoring occured.

UCLA managed a FG to start the 4th. 23-7 UCLA. A. Kimble found the end zone on a 70 yard Option run. 23-15 UCLA. UCLA would put the game away however as they sdored 17 unanswered points. Final Score 40-15. WR Baldwin was hurt late in the 4th quarter and will miss atleast 2 weeks.
