Terps Demolish Cowboys, 48-0

COLLEGE PARK, MD - The Maryland defense continued its newfound dominance, almost outscoring their teammates of offense. Maryland had three interceptions returned for touchdowns, which would have been more than enough in Maryland's 48-0 win. Despite giving up 25 points at Miami, the Terrapin defense had several huge stops and carried that momentum to two straight shutouts. The high-octane Oklahoma State was a stiffer test than Boston College, and the Terps were up for the challenge.

Derrick Leslie continued his Heisman push, running for 172 yards and two touchdowns, including a 90 yard TD scamper just before the half.

Maryland (10-2, 7-1) will take on Virginia Tech (11-1, 8-0) in the ACC Championship Game next week.

NCAA NOTES: UCLA will play for the National Championship after beating USC 35-10 in Week 14. Oklahoma will be their opponent with a win over Nebraska in the Big 12 Title Game. If Oklahoma stumbles, West Virginia will meet UCLA.
