Boise State outlasts Utah State
The first half of this game proved to be dominated by the Bronco's. Utah State scored the first 3 points of the game taking a 3-0 lead. Boise State then scored 17 unanswered points to take a solid 17-3 lead.
Utah State came back with an impressive drive to score a touchdown and make the game 17-10. However, the Bronco' answered right back with their own touchdown and headed into halftime up 24-10.
The third quarter started off with the Aggies scoring a touchdown to pull within 7 points. From that point forwards it was a see saw battle back and forth between these two teams. It ended with Utah State scoring with less than a minute to go to send it into overtime before Boise State was able to score and the Aggies couldnt.
After the game Coach McGriffLe had very little to say, "I just can't believe that we can drop 2 straight passes that would have given us a first down. We were wide open, the line blocked great, the QB threw a perfect ball and it hits us in the worst spot. THE HANDS."
