Virginia Tech lays beating on Yellowjackets
The Virginia Tech Hokies continued their winning ways, putting up 55 points in there 55-20 victory over the Georgia Tech Yellowjackets. Georgia Tech was able to keep it close for a half, but VT pulled away in the second half, scoring 35 points as compared to the seven for Georgia Tech.
With Hokies running back Branden Ore out for the season, running back Kenny Lewis Jr. had to step in.
And step in he did.
Lewis Jr. put up a daunting 243 yards on 36 carries, taking four of the balls into the endzone, in the most impressive game this season.
"Everything was going right out there today," Lewis Jr. said. "They couldn't stop me."
Tech is on the outside looking in when it comes to the BCS, sitting fourth in the BCS standings.
