West Virginia' offense exploded for 45 points on Saturday in route to a 51-10 route of the #17 Cincinnati Bearcats. Not to be outdone, the Mountaineer defense even got in on the scoring as Brandon Hogan returned a fumble 75 yards for a touchdown. In the end, it was a domintating performance on both sides of the ball. The offense exploded for 420 yards of offense, finished 9-15 on third down and converted all four attempts in red zone into points. The defense meanwhile limited UC to 153 yards of total offense and forced three turnovers.

Halfback Noel Devine rushed for 154 yards and two scores and Jarret Brown added two more through the air as the Mountaineers picked up their eighth win of the season.

The Eers were led defensively by corner Guesly Dervil's 5 stops on the day. The senior also had one of WVU's two pics on the day.
