Takin' Care of Business
West Virginia came into it's game Saturday with Bowling Green as slight favorites. But the Mountaineers clearly didn't read into any pre-game hype, they simply came out and in a workman-like effort defeated the Falcons 40-17.
Quarterback Jarrett Brown led an effecient Mountaineer offense that racked up 448 yards of total offense. Brown threw three touchdowns on 15-21 passing. He finished the day with 216 yards through the air with no interceptions.
Defensively WVU was led by Eain Smith and Guesly Dervil's 6 tackles each. The Falcons were held to just 230 yards of total offense. WVU returns to action next week as they face Colorado at home.
