Devine Intervention - HB leads way for Mountaineers
Halfback Noel Devine turned in a dominating performance to help lead West Virginia past rival Louisville on Saturday 31-7. Devine rushed for 179 yards including a 98 yard sprint to paydirt just before halftime. He also added 5 catches for 60 more yards and another TD.
Defensively, WVU dominated the Cardinals, allowing them to convert just one third down all game. Linebacker Reed Williams led the way with six stops, while corner Brandon Hogan added four more.
WVU will have next weekend off before returning on Halloween to battle UCONN.
