What Can Brown Do For You - QB Leads Eers to Win

Quarterback Jarrett Brown passed for 248 yards and two scores and also added two touchdowns on the ground to lead WVU over Colorado 36-21 on Saturday. Brown finished 23 of 27 on the day as the Mountaineers improved to 3-1 on the season.

Superback Noel Devine chipped in as well. Devine had 132 yards of total offense and was on the receiving end of one of Brown's TDs. TE Will Johnson added 6 catches for 81 yards.

The Mountaineer defense, while heavily challenged by the Buffs offense was able to force two interceptions and keep Colorado off of the scoreboard in the fourth quarter. The WVU secondary led the way as Corner Kent Richardson tallied 5 stops and one interception. Senior safety Nate Sowers added 5 stops as well with all but one of those coming on special teams.

WVU will return to action next week when they begin a three game road trip starting in New Jersey against Rutgers University.
