Good Knight - WVU too much for Rutgers
Jarrett Brown threw for 280 yards and 3 touchdowns to lead West Virginia past Rutgers Saturday in East Brunswick, New Jersey, 40-21. It was the opening conference game for both schools.
Defensively WVU was led by Boogie Allen and Eain Smith who both recorded 5 stops on the day. The Eer defense held RU to just 25 yards passing on the day.
WVU returns to action next week in another road tilt, this time at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse against a much improved Orange team.
