Wyoming used a combination of stellar defense and a solid ground attack to defeat UNLV 38-10. The defense, led by David Nichols and his 2 picks, totaled 6 interceptions on the day and returned 2 for touchdowns to put away the Runnin' Rebels.

Offensively, the Pokes were led by FR TE Elliot Banks who hauled in two TD passes giving him three on the season. All three have come in the last two games. Darius Terry gained 94 yards on the ground, the biggest gainer was a 53 yard scamper in the first to set up the TD run by McMahan.
