Notre Dame had rolled into clemson, sc with out its top 25 ranking(which was lost vs Michigan)and a hope to defeat a upstart #5 Clemson team who has played well past expectations the past 2 years. Well Clemson jumped out to a quick 14 start with a 11 yard Matt Harris td run to the right corner of the endzone. The very next series back up runningback C.J. Spiller who has struggled the past 2 weeks rush up the left sideline on a misdirection play that netted 32 yards and the touchdown. From that point on Notre Dame had to play catch up and could never seem to widdle the score with in 7. James Davis is continuing his heisman campain.
