2007 Week 16

Georgia Tech having losses to clemson the past 2 times was looking for revenge. GT jumped out to a early 12-0 lead which included one 50yd touchdown grab by calvin johnson, fg, and forcing a Tigers safety. The tigers were in total disaray when a simple hb screen play was taken 68 yards for a touchdown by C.J. Spiller. From that point on the tigers held GT in check, by realing off 34 more points on the day. Stars of the game were James Davis who rushed for 189 yards 2TD. Qb Matt Harris who has been in a funk the later part of the season has recovered by having a solid day throwing for 220 and 2 touchdowns(most importantly zero interceptions). By winning the ACC championship for the 2nd time in a row, the tigers will be invited to the Orange Bowl to match up vs. the number 8 Michigan Wolverines.
