Bowden Bowl Saga Continues, Son getting the best of Dad

The Tigers the past 2 years have dismantled daddy bowdens team. Often blowing them out by 3 plus td. Headed into this game the Seminoles have struggled reletive to the talent on there team. Florida State(5-5) was comming off a 35-10 Loss to North Carolina St and were looking to rebound. The tigers were the first to get on the board with a 6 yard james davis touchdown. But from that point on the game was a rigid battle that had florida st leading 21-10 at the end of the 3rd. Timely turnover and good field position were the reason for the FSU score, because the tigers defense still held FSU's offense to 225 yards. 2 of FSU's touchdown were 35+ long deepballs to stud WR Greg Carr. But the tied turn in the 4th where the tigers offense started to click with one fg, a quick 13 yard slant td to WR tyler Grisham. But the play of the day was the last touchdown that put the tigers ahead of FSU with 32 seconds remaining. The tigers had drove down field milking the clock down by 1. Once the tigers reached the 10 yard line a misdirection play to C.J. Spiller lead to 5 broken tackles and a leaping dive over two defenders into the endzone. James Davis drove in the 2pt conversion. FSU's bobby bowden said after the game, that tommy sure is a smart ass..but i love him.

GREAT NEWS.....Wake Forest who was currently leading the division lossed to Virginia opening up a two ACC loss tiger team to win the Atlantic crown due to tiebreaker. This is the 2nd consecutive year the tigers have made it to the ACC championship game and it appears to look like they will have a rematch vs. Georgia Tech.
