Tigers dismantle Deacs!
The tigers who have traditionally had problems with the demon deacons on the road where happy to have this game at home. The tigers were crusing along after a 49-3 win vs Boston College, and the deacons were coming off a big win vs Maryland(29-14).
The game started out fast as the Tigers James Davis busted a 40yd touchdown run up the left sideline on a hb slam play. The tigers never trail from that point on. James Davis lead all rushers by 269 yards which set a new single game school rushing record. Davis also had one 52 yard touchdown in the 3rd q. Though the deacons lost 42-14, there tailback Micah Andrews also eclipsed the 200 yard mark with 207.
