2007 Week 10

Duke who has been struggling the whole season(2-6) was just coming of another loss to WF(48-17) and was looking forward to getting back to playing on there home turf. The tigers were just coming off a emotional high beating the number 5 team in the country Georgia Tech. The Tigers jumped out to a early lead with a 49 yard touchdown to LaDonte Harris on a post route. Harris out muscled a defender and sped into the corner pilon for the games first score. Duke quickly matched and then James Davis rand down the sideline on a 34 yard scamper for td. The game actually was back and forth at one point the game was tied late in the 4th. But it was odvious something odd was going on. The tigers tommy bowden was visably gesturing things to dukes head coach. That was right before Duke's defense looked like swiss cheeze and C.J. Spiller scored on a 9 yard misdirection play. Qb Matt Harris had a solid day and capped his some what successfull season by breaking the single season school touchdown record of 21 set by woodrow danzler. Next up Florida State.
