Florida State gets revenge on NC State

Florida State finally got vengeance for last year's tragic loss to the Wolfpack. Jameis Winston passed for 234 yards and 4 touchdowns, the Seminoles defense accounted for 11 sacks on the day, and the Noles crushed NC State 82-21.
The Noles ran all over the Wolfpack defense and Devonta Freeman lead the way with 94 yards and one score on the ground. James Wilder Jr and Karlos Williams also scored for the Seminoles, who were up 51-7 at halftime. Rashad Greene had a monster game, catching 6 passes for 157 yards and one touchdown. The tight ends were also productive, with both Nick O'Leary and backup Jeremy Kerr catching a pair of touchdowns a piece.
Telvin Smith lead the defense with 7 tackles and 2 tackles for loss. Christian Jones was unstoppable off the edge and accounted for 3 sacks on the day. Demonte McAllister and Eddie Goldman also had a pair of sacks a piece. The Seminole defense was dominant throughout the game, even after the second half when backups came in to play.
NC State quarterback Brandon Mitchell was pressured all game and only threw for 151 yards and 2 scores. The NC State run game was nonexistant and Shadrach Thornton only managed 21 yards on 15 carries.
With this win, Florida State moves to 7-0 on the season and 5-0 in ACC play. NC State falls to 5-2 and 2-2 in the ACC. Next week, Florida State has a big matchup with rival Miami at home in Tallahassee.
