2013 Week 15

On The Schedule: Bye Week

Around the Nation

Weekly Report Posted: November 07, 2013 22:02

Florida State knocked off their in-state rival Florida to take their place as the top football program in the state. With wins over Florida and Miami, Florida State has "won" the sunshine state in the 2013 season.

Despite an upset loss to Virginia, Virginia Tech will be the opponent that FSU will face in the ACC Championship Game. Virginia Tech had a big win over then #1 Alabama in the first week, but then proceeded to squeak by the rest of their schedule with close wins. QB Logan Thomas has had a solid year, throwing for over 2000 yards and 19 touchdowns, and has progressed from his terrible 2012 season.

The big game this week is between #2 Oklahoma State and #3 Oklahoma. They will play for the Big 12 title and a berth in the National Championship, where they will most likely play Florida State baring an upset from Virginia Tech.
