Penn State pounds Bengals on way to NC

Penn State traveled to Pocatello undefeated and with National Championship hopes. And ISU did nothing to dash those hopes, as PSU got the ball first and scored quickly, from Morelli to Williams. They would connect for 2 TDs in the first quarter, Kinlaw would run for a 9 yard TD, and DE Gaines would get a 9 yard FR TD to make it 28-0 at the end of the quarter.

PSU would score early in the second as well, with Morelli finding Williams again, PSU would intercept a pass, but would only get a FG out of it. Both teams would exchange turnovers, and ISU would get on the board with a FG from Tony Houston. PSU would quickly score agian before half, however, with a TD from Morelli to McDonald to make it 41-3 at half.

ISU would punt to start the second half, and PSU would get a Kelly FG to extend their lead. ISU would again punt, and Kelly would kick a 50 yarder to extend it yet farther. Punt, and Morelli and McDonald would hook up for another TD to make it 58-3 going into the 4th.

A lot of punts happened. Kelly kicked another field goal. The game ended. 61-3 Penn State.
