Ohio State Wins 23rd National Championship

Ohio State won it's third #1 vs #2 of the season to win its 23rd National title.
Ohio State defeated two-time defending champion and top-ranked Penn State 55-31 in the first game. The #1 Buckeyes then met #2 Michigan in The Game and won 27-13 before routing Nebraska in the Big 10 Championship game. Ohio State went on to defeat #2 Oklahoma in the third game between the top two schools 34-20 to claim the national championship.

Buckeyes kick a 50-yard field goal with 0:50 remaining. NSU missed a 49-yard field goal on the final play to seal the win for Ohio State.
NSU Comes from 28 Down to Defeat Hawkeyes

Iowa scored 28 points in the game's first four minutes and led 31-3 after one-quarter of play. The Hawkeyes scored twice on its first three plays and NSU turned the ball over twice in the 1st quarter to fall behind. But the Prairie Dog defense controlled the rest of the game as NSU outscored Iowa 38-3 the rest of the game.
The 28-point comeback may tie the largest in NSU history, along with S124 win against Colorado.
