Domination!

It was over when...
Coach DeLoye lit up a celebratory cigar and snagged a Bud Light from the beer guy in aisle 3 after Mauk threw a 40yd TD on the first play of the 4th quarter to go up 27-10.

Game Ball(s)
-UConn's receiving crew. Combining for a total of 9 dropped passes in the game it looked as if they had forgotten they weren't playing Rhode Island anymore.
-Micah Andrews. With 50 seconds left on the clock in the game, DeLoye realized Micah only had 42yds rushing in the Huskie beatdown. So in true stat padding fashion, DeLoye called for 12 straight handoffs to Micah for a 73 yd drive that consumed the whole clock, 3 timeouts, and resulted in a TD. Micah finished with 115yds.

Key Stat
Wake had no turnovers, no sacks, and did not punt once on the day. Guess it's back to women's basketball for UConn.

Noteworthy
-In the third quarter, after achieving their first first down since the first quarter, UConn's halfback was knocked out of bounds after a 11 yd catch. The HB began to fist pump the air like Shawn Merriman after a roid rage and unfortunately a member of the "chain gang" got in the way of the celebration. He was taken to the hospital with a minor concussion and assault charges are pending.
-When asked how he (Coach DeLoye) was going to prepare for The University of Mississippi next week, he replied with, "Who the @$#% is University of Mississippi? I thought I scheduled Ole Miss."
